The Environment

PROCESOS INDUSTRIALES

The I.E.M. facility has a Modern Chemical Treatment Plant which treats all waste water from the plant prior to final disposal.

The characteristics of the water, its pH, conductivity, heavy metals, phosphorous, etc. are controlled by our Chemical-Physical Laboratory before disposal.

The laboratory has Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy Equipment to control the amount of pollutants in the treated water from our plant. This allows us to minimise pollutants and look after the Environment.

The environmental management in place at the I.E.M. plant allows us to separate waste generated at origin.

This is possible thanks to our committed Management, our fully-trained, involved Staff and a growing concern for the protection of the Environment.

The waste is classified and disposed of in accordance with established environmental procedures and then removed by an authorised Waste Management Firm.

I.E.M. has a Chemical Product Warehouse which observes the correct positioning of products in accordance with current Legislation. This warehouse is a totally-isolated annex with no risk of accidental spillage to the exterior.
